Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (2014) is a Walt Disney family entertainment comedy movie which will make you laugh a lot. This is one of the Disney’s productions which will be liked by everyone alike from kids to adults. The movie is based on Judith Viorst's 1972 children's book of the same name.
The movie is a wish grant turned nightmare kind of story which you might have seen in many movies but the context here spans to the parents, elder brother & sister and youngest kid of the family. It’s a series of events that happens on a single day as the main character celebrates his birthday.
Steve Carell is a jobless individual and currently is taking care of the toddler in the family. What happens in his life at the job interview he attends is one of the funniest scenes of the movie.
Jennifer Garner plays the mother of all the kids and as a working woman in one of the kid’s publishing company. The scene where she tries to stop the book launch is one of her best’s.
Alexander is played by Ed Oxenbould and he has acted very well in his role. The scene where his elder brother is talking to his girlfriend is awesome.
Elder brother is played by Dylan Minnette and his scene with Jennifer Coolidge for passing the driving test will make you laugh a lot.
Elder sister is played by Kerris Dorsey and her scene of the stage show is really great.
This movie is a roller coaster ride of fun and laughter. You won’t feel bored for even a single second. The movie will fully leave you satisfied for all the money you spend on the tickets. The movie is good for a weekend together with family for an amazing Sunday afternoon. Go for it and enjoy a lot!
