Avengers: Infinity War Breaks Records #SouthAfrica @Disney @Marvel #AvengersInfinityWar

Hi Friends,

Marvel Studios film becomes the biggest opening day and weekend of all time in South Africa. Audiences across Africa assembled in cinemas this past weekend (April 27-29) to witness the unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making, delivering Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War not only to the top of the box office but also into the record books.

The nineteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe took in nearly R24.6 million at the South African Box Office, with over 287k attendances for its opening weekend, including Thursday night previews. This debut ranks as the biggest industry opening weekend ever in South African Box Office history. Friday 27 April also saw Avengers: Infinity War takes in over R8.4 million, the biggest industry opening day ever at the local box office. I was part of the Thursday 8:30pm show at Cinema 1 @SterKinekor, Mall of Africa and totally loved the movie. The people present didn't want the same to end as they wanted to see all the next part too. No one even moved their seats as they all waited to see the scenes after the End Credits rolled out. It's a long wait now for the closing part of the movie scheduled to release next year in 2019 May.

Also in cinemas, Marvel Studios’ Black Panther continued its historic run at the South African Box Office with the film passing an unprecedented R105 million with nearly 1.4m attendances.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther are now in cinemas. Go and check out both the movies at a cinema near you.

Review: The movie is awesome if you fans of Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy as they collaborate a lot in this movie. Secondly, if you are fans of Dr. Strange and Iron Man and Hulk and his associate SpiderMan or Peter Parker as they fight it out together and are the main strategists of the game to be revealed in the next part of the movie. And if you are Black Panther fan with Captain America and Black Widow, you will be in amazement. Black Panther scenes really bring the theatre on the stand as people start hooting and applauding. I think BP is going to be one movie which will continue to top the charts all across Africa. Overall, it's a great movie in terms of graphics and storyline and I wanted it to never end and second part shall be released just next week.

Cheers!!!
