@LUX_SA Celebrates #SouthAfrican Women With #WeAreMore Campaign #HouseofLUX

LUX, the iconic fragrant and luxury bath brand, recently launched year two of the brand’s highly publicised #WeAreMore campaign. Bringing together a couple former iconic faces of the brand, including Basetsana Kumalo, Sonia Mbele and Jo-Ann Strauss, along with the current face of the brand, Nandi Madida, the brand took social media – and the media – by storm at the end of March, with everyone wondering: what is #HouseofLUX and how can they get involved? Accompanied by eight of the country’s most well-known beauty and fashion digital influencers, and in celebration of the heritage and longevity of the brand, these 12 beautiful and multi-faceted women spent three glorious days together at the Fairlawns Boutique Hotel and Spa in Sandton, delving deeper into an emotive campaign to recognize South African women.

In what is can best be described as a luxurious brand experience, complete with a fine fragrance workshop, a #HouseofLUX dinner, celebrity stylists and hair and make-up crews on call, 3 production crews working day and night to ensure that every moment – and woman – is captured perfectly, and exotic flower crowns and creations, the #HouseofLUX was as much a retreat as it was a content creation breakaway.

“Bringing the former faces, current face of the brand, and digital influencers Nadia Jaftha, Aqeelah Harron-Ally, Tshego Manche, Tuli Mola, Zola Zee, Crystal Kasper, Palesa Mahlaba and Nomalanga Shozi together for this experience was nothing short of history-in-the-making,” says Sphelele Mjadu, PR Lead for Africa, Unilever Personal Care. “Each of these beautiful and iconic women was taken through the past, present and future of the brand, while simultaneously creating and co-creating powerful content to express their own connection with the LUX heritage in South Africa, and establish their individual positioning to celebrate #WeAreMore in 2018 and beyond. With its #WeAreMore campaign, LUX wants to embrace and also call out the many personas, responsibilities, and facets that there is for every woman.
