RIB: a Powerfly exclusive
The all-new Powerfly e-MTB saw Trek designers addressing some of the biggest pain points of e-bike integrated batteries. Exclusive to Trek’s Powerfly is the new Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) which fully incorporates the Bosch 500Wh PowerTube battery into the downtube. This facilitates easy access to remove or install the battery thanks to a smarter interface, one-piece battery and cover, and built-in handle. The battery is positioned away from the areas of the bike that are often subjected to dirt, mud, and water that naturally accompany the best of outrides. No tools are needed for battery removal.
