Study to Play @HUAWEIza #MatePadT8 is Your Child’s Digital Best Friend

Hi Friends,

As many parents continue to keep their young ones at home, children are beginning to adapt to digital technologies at an exceedingly rapid rate. The days of coloring-in books have now been replaced by tablets, which can be used as a platform to create fun digital illustrations, and the interactive face-to-face classes with teachers have morphed into engaging online lessons.

This change seems to be almost seamless for today’s technologically astute children, whose only impediment to truly embracing a digitally transformed way of learning and playing is a lack of the right tools. Today, tablets need to adhere to a variety of criteria in order to truly benefit today’s youth, as well as their families. Devices need to be durable, light, powerful, and of course - fun.

The right tool in the right form
The new HUAWEI MatePad T8 is a device that meets all of these requirements, as it is a feature-packed tablet that comes in a lightweight design. It has a massive screen-to-body ratio of over 80 percent, making the most of the compact form factor to provide a large display area for kids and parents. It comes in a streamlined metal back featuring a sandblasted finish that produces a smooth look, and an ergonomic curved design to ensure a comfortable hold, even over long periods of use.

Powered by an octa-core chipset and housing a large 5100 mAh battery, the HUAWEI MatePad T8 provides everything your kids need for hours of uninterrupted entertainment and education, for just R2,999. The tablet is perfect for families who often find themselves in battles over screen time, with plenty of advanced tools to overcome these simple obstacles and squabbles.

Digital balance with Kids Corner
One of the greatest demands when it comes to tablets has been for a feature that enables parents to track and limit their children’s usage time of a device, so as to prevent their young ones from indulging in copious, unbroken amounts of screen time. The HUAWEI MatePad T8 is the perfect tool to provide your child with that crucial digital balance, thanks to the built-in Kids Corner. Kids Corner is a virtual playground that children can explore without adult supervision. The platform not only aims to create an exclusive learning and entertainment space for children but also ensures that parents can easily monitor their child’s tablet usage – without having to hover over them 24/7.

Full parental controls
With the HUAWEI MatePad T8, you can simply open Parental Controls in Kids Corner to find the four control modules – eye protection, time management, app management, and content management. These features are designed to help children develop healthier, more sustainable technology habits. Settings can be easily modified to limit the number of times a day and for how long your child is allowed to use his or her tablet, as well as enable rest periods.

Screen time limits
You can also establish what apps and media are accessible at different times, which can be used effectively to help ease children into a daily routine. To promote healthy device usage, the Kids Corner includes four eye protection modes – blue light filter, posture alerts, bumpy road alerts, and eBook – to provide a more comfortable user experience.

Correct posture
For when kids are using the HUAWEI MatePad T, Kids Corner also has a few tricks to look after their physical health. Often, when spending time on a tablet or laptop, it is easy to become overly relaxed and slump into postures and positions that are damaging to the joints and muscles. Kids Corner has posture alerts that can identify when the user is lying still for too long and alert them to move and correct their posture. Moreover, the HUAWEI MatePad T features a blue light filter, bumpy road alerts, and eBook mode, which protecting your kids’ eyes.

With its affordable price point, powerful performance, and durability, the HUAWEI MatePad T8 is the ultimate tablet for families. Through Kids Corner, the device places education, protection, and digital wellness at its core, giving parents peace of mind, and the young ones a device that has their best intentions at heart.

The HUAWEI MatePad T8 is priced at R2,999 and is available on Huawei’s online commerce store at https://huaweistore.co.za/huawei-matepad-t8-wifi-blue.html. From 1 July it will be available at the following stores: Vodacom, MTN, Cellucity, Telkom, Incredible Connection, Makro and Game.

#TheLifesWayReviews KOTA FACTORY @TheViralFever #KotaFactory #Drama

Hi Friends,

Yesterday I binged watched the Kota Factory as it's only 5 episodes which go for about 3 hours 15 minutes and totally fallen in love with the overall story and brought back so many memories from the times when I was preparing for my engineering entrance exams from New Delhi and not from Kota like the TVF's Kota Factory's protagonist Vaibhav Pandey played by Mayur More. Ranjan Raj plays Balmukund Meena who welcomes Vaibhav into his world of IIT preparations and becomes one of the best friends. His acting is superb and brings a lot of soul to the whole series.

Kota is showcased to be run by two major coaching institutes where Maheshwari Classes is number 1 and if you don't get admission there then you join Prodigy Coaching classes. Vaibhav comes to Kota and joins the Prodigy after being rejected admission by Maheshwari Classes and starts in the lowest batch A10. He is introduced to Uday Gupta played by Alam Khan and Shivangi Ranawat played by Ahsaas Channa by Meena. Slowly as he starts his journey he is helped and motivated by Jeetu Bhaiya who is Physics Teacher at Prodigy Classes and the actor behind this role is Jitendra Kumar. In real life, Jitendra is an IIT Kharagpur graduate and moved into movies and web series.

Kota Factory not only focusses on the various subjects and the nitty-gritty behind those subjects but also coming out from the home environment to stay in the hostels and PG's where the basic necessities is also a struggle despite the amount of money provided by the family. As the friendship develops, Vaibhav and others not only learns a lot about life but also about the IIT preparations. This web series doesn't only show the competitiveness between students but the mental state of aspirants who are spending 1-2 years of their life in Kota and how it impacts the rest of their life. The 21 Days plan is really awesome and you will definitely enjoy watching this web series.
#TheLifesWayReviews KOTA FACTORY @TheViralFever #KotaFactory #Drama
The dialogues spoken by Jeetu Bhaiya really hits you to think a lot about your own life whatever stage you are in. I really loved watching this web series and want to see it once again especially the parts of Jeetu Bhaiya. Even when Meena says ''Kabhi Kabhi Milne aur saath rehne mein farak hota hai, Dosti hai koi revision thodi na, joh Karna hi hai'' and this dialogue made me cry. It reminded me of several times when I had to leave a lot behind and just go where life took me. That's the biggest reality of life which we need to accept that change is what will keep you moving forward and accept it as soon as possible and make it a way of life.

There is not only serious mode in this web series but also when they get to relax for 5 days during the Class 12 practicals time and it brings that they are still kids who are handling the pressure of the world. It is the time when Meena falls for Meenal Parekh played by Urvi Singh and Vaibhav for Vartika Ratawal played by Revathi Pillai whom we saw recently in Special Ops as Kay Kay Menon's daughter. These moments are really great as it will bring back all the memories of first love from your school and college days.

Kota Factory is a comedy-drama created by Saurabh Khanna and Tamojit Das. The songs are created by Karthik Rao and Simran Hora. Cinematography is done by Jerin Paul and a lot of drone shots really bring a lot of great shots of Kota, Rajasthan. The overall production value is great and all actors just fit in their roles and the story is great with a lot of drama, comedy, and motivation. Also, the whole series is shot in Black and White till the end and really brings back nostalgic memories automatically.

I don't know whether there will be a Season 2 of the series but I am hoping that it will happen sometime after the lockdown as the end result of getting into the IIT is not shown but I am sure even these 5 episodes you will want to see again and again. Go for it if not seen to date. The same is also available on Youtube as well as TVFPlay. RATING 4.5/5

#TheLifesWayReviews AARYA @DisneyplusHSVIP #HotstarSpecials #Aarya #Thriller

Hi Friends,

Aarya is the latest web series launched on Disney + Hotstar online platform and marks the comeback of Sushmita Sen after a gap of 10 years. Aarya has a good storyline with a lot of twists and turns. Sushmita Sen hasn't aged and seems extremely fit to be in the role of mother of 3 children, two being teenagers. I watched the whole series on the day of the launch i.e. 19th June 2020 on Hotstar Digital Platform but didn't get the time to write the review to date.

Also, I found the 9 episodes to be running too slow and it would have made it more thrilling if the speed of the serial has been increased 10-15% as I got disinterested in the series in the first 2 episodes which I watched at the regular playback speed and when I increased the same to 115% then it was working more and kept me on the edge of the seat. 9 episodes in total will take around 7 hours 45 minutes to finish and you can easily binge-watch them on the tour of Rajasthan and the first few episodes are more like marriage ceremonies of the big fat wedding.

The web series stars Chandrachur Singh which also makes a comeback as Jay Sareen, husband of Aarya Sareen played by Sushmita Sen. Namit Das as Jawahar and Ankur Bhatia as Sangram who is the younger brother of Aarya. These 3 persons are handling the business once run by their dad Zorawar played by Jayant Kripalani. Sikandar Kher as Daulat is Zorawar's, right-hand man and later helps Aarya in all her tasks to run the business. Alexx ONell plays Bob with which younger sister of Aarya, Soundarya is getting married played by Priyasha Bhardwaj. Flora Saini also plays a small role of Radhika/Rads as a lover of Zorawar. Sohaila Kapur plays the ex-wife of Zorawar. Sugandha Garg also makes a comeback as Hina but got nothing much to do as the fiancee of Sangram. Maya Sarao plays Jawahar's wife role as Maya. Maya, Aarya, and Hina are best friends in the web series.
#TheLifesWayReviews AARYA @DisneyplusHSVIP #HotstarSpecials #Aarya #Thriller
The story revolves around the greed of getting rich despite Jay's warnings to Jawahar and Sangram led to the murder of Jay in front of his son. The reign is then handled by Aarya as she overcomes all kinds of challenges and fighting the cause to keep her family close despite several threats from the police and the Shekawat played by Manish Choudhary whose heroine they tried to take and become rich. She herself tries to find the person behind the murder of her husband Jay which keeps you glued to the screen. Sangram runs the operation from jail and ACP Khan played by Vikas Kumar tries to find the culprit. The overall story has many elements which you will like as the fighting spirit of Aarya and the selfish tendencies of Jawahar while all the hell comes loose and there is chaos all around. I really loved the acting of Vishwajeet Pradhan as Sampat - right-hand man of Shekawat. The story tells an emotional part of the afterlife of kids as their father dies and how each one of them tries to handle the situation despite their loving mother and other family members. It's a real struggle inside their hearts, mind, body, and soul and showcased greatly in this web series. Veer (eldest son) is played by Viren Vazirani, Aaru (daughter) is played by Virti Vaghani and youngest son Adi is played by Pratyaksh Panwar. Veer's love interest Pallavi is played by Gargi Sawant.

Some of the issues showcased are just introduced in the story to accommodate everything like ACP Khan to be gay as there is no development of character or something and there is no focus on the same too afterward. Also, the love with the old Bollywood songs is just like as showcased in the Karan Johar's movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil where it was introduced just to match someone's from the production house thinking it will suit the audience and they will like it and here also in this series there are long sequences of the old Hindi songs. It's not like I didn't love those songs but it doesn't make any sense in today's world of web-series unless you are advertising them for SAREGAMA's Carvaan Music player.

Overall, this web series has a huge star cast with great sets and cinematography and they have kept the ending open so as to make another season. It is not announced yet but in the days to come - it will be as the web series is getting good response from all the fans of Sushmita Sen including me. The web series is produced by Ram and Amita Madhvani along with Endemol Shine India and is based on Penoza a Dutch Drama series by Pieter Bart Korthuis. I also liked the background music done by Vishal Khurana and the story is written by Sandeep Shrivastava and Anu Singh Choudhary. Aarya is directed by Ram Madhvani himself along with Sandeep Modi and Vinod Rawat. Watch it this weekend on Disney Hotstar. RATING 3.5/5

Brown-hooded Kingfisher @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica

Hi Friends,

Sometimes in life, you wonder that you shall have the higher zoom camera to capture the beautiful birds which are far on the branches or are flying high in the skies. A similar experience happened to me when I saw this beautiful Kingfisher bird which was sitting far high on the branches of a tree inside the Kruger National Park.
Brown-hooded Kingfisher @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
Kruger National Park is filled with so many different kinds of birds and you need a good telephoto lens so that you can reach them from far far away. It's always good practice to rent the equipment if you can't own the same.
Brown-hooded Kingfisher @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
Brown-hooded Kingfisher is almost the size of Cape Sterling which I shared photos earlier in my posts and weighs just 60 grams. You will be able to find them near any water source especially rivers inside the Kruger National Park.
Brown-hooded Kingfisher @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
In the end, Kingfisher is one of the beautiful birds with a loud and harsh voice. You will find them in pairs maximum else it also roams alone. People also say that it showcases the most dramatic courtship displays in the mating season. All the photos are taken using Nikon D7000 and Sigma 70-300mm Telephoto lens inside the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Impala @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica

Hi Friends,

Impala is found all over South Africa in all the game drives and all the national parks and they look really lovely in their beautiful and agile body.
Impala @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
This photograph is my favorite as one of the Impala takes the center stage while others check out my next movement to start running from the spot. This led to a great photographic capture as the sand creates the stage like a podium and the grass in the background created the others in far watching the performances.
Impala @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
The beautiful Impala can run at its maximum speed of 80km while 60km is general. One fun fact is that they are also called as McDonald's of the Bush as they are readily available for the carnivorous animals to hunt them easily.
Impala @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
Because they have dark brown lines on either side of their bottoms and one in the middle of the tail, making it look like an M logo just like on McDonald's stores all around the world. If you ever make it to South Africa, do check them out at the Kruger National Park and enjoy this beautiful animal and if you are lucky enough, you will see them getting hunted by the Leopards and Lions. All the photos are taken using the Nikon D7000 and Sigma 70-300mm telephoto lens.

SHIMLA MIRCHI @NetflixSA #Movie #Comedy #ShimlaMirchi

Hi Friends,

Shimla Mirchi is a situational romantic comedy and a light-hearted movie that you can enjoy with your family. Shimla Mirchi stars Hema Malani as Rukmani, Rakul Preet Singh as Naina, Rukmani's daughter, Kanwaljit Singh as Tilak, Naina's father, and Rajkummar Rao as Avinash. The movie also stars Shakti Kapoor, Kiran Juneja, Kamlesh Gill, and Dharmendra in a special appearance along with Ramesh Sippy. The movie is written, produced, and directed by Ramesh Sippy himself and was distributed by Viacom18 Motion Pictures. The movie was released in theatres on 3 January 2020 and was soon available on Netflix's online platform and app.
#TheLifesWayReviews - SHIMLA MIRCHI @NetflixSA #Movie #Comedy #ShimlaMirchi
The movie is really great to watch once during these lockdown times as it brings light-hearted comedy and the acting of Hema Malini needs no introduction. It's really a pleasure to see her live on screen in this movie and Rajkummar Rao has acted just like he does in every movie - perfect to the character. Rakul looks beautiful and her screen presence brings a lot of cuteness and charm on the big screen. The songs are okay but not worthy of remembering and the music is composed by Meet Bros Anjjan. You should definitely watch the movie this weekend on Netflix's digital platform. The story is not so different as it shows the love story of a boy fallen in love with a girl and works as a waiter at her restaurant despite being fully educated and a third angle is introduced when the mother thinks that the boy loves her but the situation is used just like it used to be in Priyadarshan movies but overall you won't waste your 2 hours watching this fun ride in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. RATING 2.5/5

@PeugeotZA Powerbank 10000mAh #PeugeotZA #ProductReview

Hi Friends,

At the start of the lockdown, I participated randomly in a twitter contest for Peugeot South Africa and by the power of the Universe, I won the contest and amazing Peugeot Powerbanks of 10000mAh made their way towards my home for myself and my wife.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @PeugeotZA Powerbank 10000mAh #PeugeotZA #ProductReview
The first thing that came to my mind when I opened the box is the amazing design of the power bank along with the LCD display to show how much charge is left in the power bank. The graphics design really is very nice on the Peugeot power bank.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @PeugeotZA Powerbank 10000mAh #PeugeotZA #ProductReview
The power bank also had a small LED light which can be switch ON and OFF using a button on the right side of the device. The light emitted by the LED is strong enough to take care of your travel essentials in case you want to look under the bed or read a book or find something in the drawers. The power bank can be fully charged using the micro-USB cable supplied in the box and takes around 5-6 hours to fully charge.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @PeugeotZA Powerbank 10000mAh #PeugeotZA #ProductReview
There are 2 output points to charge two devices in a single go but the power wattage is 5V 2.1A on both the USB points. The input also is similar to get the power bank charged. I tried the 10000mAh to charge one of the notebooks, I have and using 50% of the power, I could charge the tablet/netbook to about 33% which has about 8000mAh battery. So as always with all kinds of power banks, the throughput is always around 80% in the best capacity.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @PeugeotZA Powerbank 10000mAh #PeugeotZA #ProductReview
This power bank is available at the Peugeot branded showrooms for their cars for about R500 and some other merchandise will also be on display if you want to show off your new products.
#TheLifesWayReviews - @PeugeotZA Powerbank 10000mAh #PeugeotZA #ProductReview
Again, I am eternally grateful to Peugeot to show off my new power bank with LED light and LCD display which is not there in any of my other power banks to date. I love these twitter contests and the doorbell when it rings by the courier company to come and collect the packages at the gate these days!

SHOOTER Season 2 @NetflixSA #TVSeries #Action #Shooter

Hi Friends,

Shooter Season 2 focussed on a little bit of International action where the so-called Solotov which was mentioned a little in Season 1 becomes the number 1 enemy in Season 2 as he tries to take on all the squad from unit 8113 as they go to Germany to receive some medal for a marine where they get attacked.

In the second season also, there are double-crossings again and again and the actions also switch to Germany, Mexico, and the USA. Solotov is played by Josh Stewart showcased as Chechen sniper who fought with Russia during the Chechen war and is being taken under their control by Atlas. He has played his character perfectly great and looks like a real assassin.

Shooter Season 2 only has 8 episodes of 45 minutes each which were first broadcasted on the USA network from July 18 to Sep 5th, 2017 and now are available for bing watch on Netflix digital platform and app. I binge-watched all the episodes from Season 1 to Season 3 on Netflix. Season 2 is one of the most interesting as the enemy also is too strong and an equal Sniper and great in his talents too. He is shown too good that he befriends Swagger's wife Julie and is invited to the Church festival of their kid Mary.
#TheLifesWayReviews - SHOOTER Season 2 @NetflixSA #TVSeries #Action #Shooter
Most of the characters are the same as Bob Lee Swagger is played by Ryan Phillippe, Julie played by Shantel VanSanten and daughter Mary played by Lexy Kolker. Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Nadine Memphis and Omar Epps as Isaac Johnson continue to play their characters well enough. Jaina Lee Ortiz plays Angela Tio who is currently serving as a Marine and is a great addition to the star cast. Patrick Sabongui as Yusuf Ali also one of the Marines and goes till Mexico with Bob Lee before being killed by Solotov. Todd Lowe as Colin Dobbs also plays one of the marines with Swagger and helps him identify the shooters location in Germany and also his neighbor in Texas. Jerry Ferrara as Kirk Zehnder who identifies the Atlas conspiracy and goes underground after faking his own death.

The story revolves around the assignment in Afghanistan when the unit 8113 was together and they come across opium which actually belongs to the CIA agent Meachum and the wife of the drug dealer are taken into custody by the marines. Solotov comes as a UN Doctor to take the wife away and kills her during an attack on the convoy. But as Donny interprets that it is his doing they take away the badge of Solotov and keep it at the base whereas all the others in the unit saw the face of the agent. This led to Solotov killing them one by one as Atlas raises a question on his performance to be assigned more tasks as it could be backtracked to them.

Overall, the Season 2 is in continuation of the story and you will enjoy watching some of the action in Afghanistan in the flashback and also in some of the new countries introduced in this season.  Bob Lee Swagger continues to do what he does best - HUNT. RATING 3.5/5

The movie stars Sunny Singh as Puneet Khanna and Sonnalli Seygall as Saanjh Bhalla in the lead roles whereas their moms are being played by Supriya Pathak as Laali Khanna and Poonam Dhillon as Pinky Bhalla. The movie is directed by Navjot Gulati and is produced by T-Series and Luv Films whereas it's distributed by YRF - Yash raj films.

The movie doesn't offer anything new and most of the characters are left hanging without any roles to play other than the moms and the main lead characters. The movie doesn't offer anything which you have not seen in any of these kinds of movies where the kids fall in love with each other whereas the parents are enemies and in this movie the mothers of the lead pair are in the fight with each other. The only thing new is the double meaning and adult jokes installed in this version of the movie.
#TheLifesWayReviews - JAI MUMMY DI @NetflixSA #Movie #Comedy #JaiMummyDi
Sunny Singh looks smarter than the lead heroine Sonnalli and acted well. Vineet plays the younger brother of Puneet and is played by Veer Rajwant Singh and the scenes between them are superb. The fathers in the movie didn't have much to do and their roles are not defined at all, they are played by Rajendra Sethi and Danish Hussain. The moms are the main strength of this movie who have played their roles great. The movie is only due to their acting performances and expressions. Supriya Pathak has played her role in TV serial - Khichdi so well that the image is so difficult to take it out in any other setup.

The movie has tried to cash in on the Pyaar Ka Punchnama series and other movies from Luv Films as all their stars show cameo appearances in this movie too. Alok Nath also plays an important character Sanju Luthra after whom the mothers fight over during their college time and then played by Varun Sharma (Fukrey fame).

The songs are okay and some of them you will like too especially Dariyaganj sung by Arijit Singh and Lamborghini by Neha Kakkar and Jassi Gill. Overall the movie doesn't offer in its 103 minutes of your time. You can watch it one time on Netflix online platform and forget about the same if you like any of the film stars those act in this film or if you belong to Ghaziabad or Delhi NCR as you will see some of the locations you will identify with. RATING 1.5/5

WWF Soundscape Playlist Brings Nature Inside @WWFSouthAfrica #NatureMatters

Hi Friends,

To put us all back in touch with nature, WWF South Africa has launched a restful playlist of the unique sounds and features of Africa’s natural heritage for enjoyment safely at home, while observing the ongoing Covid-19 lockdown.

The WWF playlist, titled ‘Bring Nature Inside’, captures the soundscapes of our beautiful natural world and features the sounds of projects and areas where WWF is actively working.

“We wanted to allow people to experience the richness of nature. With many of us feeling overwhelmed by the current state of the world and the unique disruptions we are facing, it is imperative for us to take care of our mental and emotional well-being. Nature provides the perfect ‘escape’ that we need during this time,” says Justin Smith, head of business development at WWF South Africa.

From the enchanting sounds of rhino translocations to the soothing backdrop of a free-flowing river and the rhythmic sound of the Atlantic Ocean, each authentic track features immersive sounds with a description that brings together the beauty and significance of our natural resources and showcases the work WWF is doing to help protect South Africa’s natural heritage.

“Fostering a connection with nature during these unsettling times is essential for our well-being and a reminder of the ways in which we can look after our environment, especially as the world searches for a new normal in how we live,” says Justin.

With its 10-hour long mix of different calming and inspirational tracks, the WWF SA soundscapes can be enjoyed in any setting; whether you are working, exercising, cooking, gardening, or simply taking a break from your home desk. For access to the WWF SA Soundscape Playlist please visit wwf.org.za or click on the below links:

The soundscapes will also be available on various streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Deezer, Google Play, and Amazon. A percentage of the streaming royalties will go to support WWF SA’s ongoing conservation work, at no cost to the platform user.

“We are excited to share soundscapes with our audiences. Distance does not mean disconnect, and we hope that with this platform we can help bring some solace and peace to people in these extraordinarily trying times. At the same time, we want to highlight that nature still matters; we must continue safeguarding it so that we can all enjoy it together again in the future. As an added benefit, every time a track is streamed, WWF will earn a modest amount of much-needed money to put towards its conservation efforts,” says Justin.

Kandasamys: The Wedding @ShowmaxOnline #Comedy #KandasamysTheWedding

Hi Friends,

It's the biggest fear of people to create the success of the first book or movie or whatever they excelled in the first part. It takes courage and a lot of faith in one's capabilities to create the same success to be well accepted by the public reading or watching the creation. Keeping up with Kandasamys became South Africa's best picture in terms of showcasing the South African Born Indian community living in Chatsworth, Durban. The second part of the same Kandasamys: The Wedding got released on 18th April 2019 but unfortunately I could not watch the same in the theatres. Showmax has not launched the movie on its online platform and I watched the same yesterday.

The second part also features the same star cast as it's the continuation of the love story between Prishen (Madhushan Singh) and Jodi (Mishqah Parthiephal) as now the preparations for their wedding is the central theme of the second part and to the main day. As it happens in most families the preparations are the hardest part as the families start preparing for all the arrangements and there will be friction between the groom and the bride's families as they want the best for their kids.
#TheLifesWayReviews - Kandasamys: The Wedding @ShowmaxOnline #Comedy #KandasamysTheWedding
The father of Prishen is replaced in this movie and the rest of the cast is similar to the first part of the movie. It's been played by Yugan Naidoo as Preggie Naidoo, Shanthi Naidoo is played by Maeshni Naicker. The Kandasamy family is played by Jailoshini Naidoo as Jennifer Kandasamy, Koobeshen Naidoo as Elvis Kandasamy and above all Mariam Bassa as Kaunam 'Aaya' Kandasamy. They all have acted greatly and fit perfectly in their characters. The scene where Aaya uses the Germs mask can be called as the premotion of Covid19 as now everyone is wearing a mask to save themselves.

As I was expecting a lot from the movie, I was not able to enjoy this part as much as the first part. Some scenes are nice but the overall movie is lacking the feel and vibe of a great script. The director Jayan Moodley tries to showcase the stressing elements in the newlywed's life before the marriage and during the parts of the ceremonies but it was difficult to do in a comical way. The parts between the Rushil Juglall as Arsevan and Tesarnia Oree as Poobasha are totally unnecessary as they are not only boring but brings nothing to the overall comical value in the picture and are totally irritating.

The locations used from Durban and nearby areas are amazing and I totally loved watching those and some of the places I have missed, I have noted down to see in my next trip to Durban. If you have not been part of the Kandasamy's do bing watch it on Showmax in continuation with the first part on this coming weekend and enjoy the Durban Bunny Chow moments. It won't give you as much pleasure as Hum Aapke Hain Kaun but it's worth your time (127 minutes in total) to attend a local South African Indian Wedding.  RATING 3/5

Blue Wildebeest @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica

Hi Friends,

Continuing our journey towards the Mopani rest camp we continued to come across various birds, animals, flora, and fauna along with the whole topographical location. We traveled inside the Kruger National Park for about 275 kilometers without taking any food breaks and eat in the car and only stop to use the washrooms.
Blue Wildebeest @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
Wildebeest is a type of Antelope that comes in two species in Africa namely Blue and Black Wildebeest. You will find them a lot inside the Kruger National Park and also private Game Safaris in the rest of the country. You will find them sharing the grazing space with Zebra and they are attacked by predators as they weight around 180kilograms making the whole Pride of Lions feel full.
Blue Wildebeest @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
The great migration of Wildebeest happens in the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya as the population is huge in those areas which can be predominantly seen during the months of July and August. If you going to Masai Mara, do book your trip with the trusted travel agents as a lot doesn't fulfill the promises after taking your money.
Blue Wildebeest @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
It feels great to feature all these animals in a separate post each and then select the best shots to share on my social media platforms. I hope you are liking them too and plans to see them live in Kruger National Park in South Africa.

SHOOTER Season 1 @NetflixSA #TVSeries #Action #Thriller

Hi Friends,

I watched the Shooter Season 1 on Netflix after I watched the movie on the same name some years back starring Mark Wahlberg based on the novel Point of Impact by Stephen Hunter.

I totally loved the fast-paced action thriller Season 1 which keeps on the edge but as it comes towards the last few episodes of Season 1, there is a lot of double crossings, triple crossings and multiple crossings between the same people where everyone is using everyone and not killing anyone whereas as a viewer you know that they have to kill them eventually. I think the first season could easily be reduced by 2 episodes to keep it to 8 episodes rather than 10 episodes of 45 minutes each on the average.

Shooter features the story of a Marine Sniper Bob Lee Swagger played by Ryan Phillippe who has retired and now lives with his wife Julie played by Shantel VanSanten and daughter Mary played by Lexy Kolker.
#TheLifesWayReviews - SHOOTER Season 1 @NetflixSA #WebSeries #Action #Thriller
Shooter Season 1 focuses on Bob Lee getting trapped into the assassination attempt of the American President and killing of another Top official from another country. Now the group behind the same never thought that Bob Lee will survive and they thought they will be able to take him out but somehow he survives and the struggle starts. Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Nadine Memphis is an FBI officer who catches Bob Lee and Omar Epps as Isaac Johnson who earlier used to be the Commanding Officer of Swagger and who brought Bob Lee back from retirement to save the country and put him in this position.

How Bob Lee Swagger survives the jail and comes out of the same along with finding the clues behind the whole planning and execution? and how the group behind the assassination starts feeling the heat once Swagger is on the run and how he gets support from Nadine is the whole storyline behind the 10 episodes in the first season of 45 minutes each. As this is a fast-paced story, new characters are regularly introduced and then taken out from time to time. Swagger is shown to be a great sniper and the story goes into flashbacks too where his life along with Donny Fenn, a spotter played by Rob Brown is showcased in various missions leading to Donny's death.

Overall, Shooter Season 1 will really keep you on the edge of the seat and you can definitely binge-watch the series. The whole series has 3 Seasons and about 31 episodes in total and Season 1 has 10. I finished watching Season 1 on Thursday and Friday evening till it got finished. The season was first showcased from 15th November 2016 onwards on USA Network and now is available on Netflix. RATING 3/5

Bats at #Satara Rest Camp @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica

Hi Friends,

As we were passing through the Satara Rest Camp and entered the small market inside the camp for some Ice cream and to go to washrooms etc, I checked out a tree outside the market. I was totally afraid to even watch these bats and click photos.
Bats at #Satara Rest Camp @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
There were flying all over the market and I really wanted to run away from that spot. But as this was something I have never felt in my life, I took out the camera and clicked some photos before leaving this place for our continued journey inside the Kruger National Park
Bats at #Satara Rest Camp @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
Bats are an integral part of the Jungle ecosystem as a single bat can eat up to 2000 insects a night which will otherwise keep you from sleeping. They eat all kinds of agricultural and household pests even mosquitoes.
Bats at #Satara Rest Camp @SANParksKNP @SANParks #KrugerNationalPark #SouthAfrica
They are part of many camps and are found in large numbers in Kruger National Parks and comes in 65 species only in South Africa out of 1200 species worldwide. SAN Parks have now tried to isolate their chalets and houses free of bats entering the houses by closing all kinds of holes in the roofs and chimney openings. This has helped the tourists to sleep perfectly well inside the rest camps but the jungle is a jungle and you can't restrict them so be prepared to stay with them as you are in their house.

All the photos are taken using Nikon D7000 using the Sigma 70-300mm lens.
