It all started with a dream to take care of my free time and to get involved in some kind of creative pursuit so that I can find my mojo and also get into something which can take me places around the city as well as the world. I have been able to enjoy my life in the truest sense of The Life's Way and also thankful to all the brands, companies, PR agencies, People involved in all these creative industries to give me a chance to perform and be myself and promote their products from time to time. I am sure some of them I have failed, some of them are indifferent and some of them must be happy too. Over the years, I have met some people who were really happy to meet me in person and it used to astonish me as to what special I have done in their lives. I also got the opportunity to eat in certain restaurants where I would not have normally gone and also maybe won't be able to afford a meal or two but because of TheLife'sWay I was invited and enjoyed some vegetarian delicacies. I might have not drunk alcohol but if it was gifted to me some of my friends must be happy for that day when he drank that wine or champagne or whiskey.

The power of social media platform I understood in my first year of participating in the Facebook contests and then migrating to the Twitter contests soon thereafter. With a strong presence in both these platforms, I was set to achieve something big when I started my blog inspired by the journey my friends took in their collaboration with the Indiblogger platform. I wanted to win some Soul by Ludacris headphones and that was the whole purpose of starting in the blogging industry but I could not win them since today. Though I got to win a lot of prizes on the Indbiblogger platform from earphones to headphones to laptops to cash to gift vouchers and build up my creative instincts as well as knowhows of blogging and in the process meet the biggest celebrities and eat at the 5-star restaurants in India.

When I came here just before the first anniversary of TheLife'sWay, I came upon a different kind of struggle. The internet data was too expensive and I had no social media following locally as I created another Twitter handle @thelifesway to be using especially in South Africa only. I didn't know any PR companies and any brand and even when contacting those brands they were saying you only have 62 followers. Then slowly and steadily I built up my following and after more than 6 months (Nov-2013 to Apr-2014) of struggle, I got my first chance from Sony South Africa who was instrumental in putting me with Primedia to review each and every movie released in their theatres. Throughout my next many years, I continued to watch each and every movie twice a week non-stop unless it's some kind of load-shedding happening in the area.

The second thing that happened around the same time was the Mission Samsung's Blogger Challenge Campaign for all the residents of South Africa and it was my dream to be winning one or at least be a part of the challenge. It came in newspapers and on Twitter handles and on their website - I read through the Terms and conditions as I wanted to win the same and put in a lot of effort to get to know about the challenge. It was their collaboration with Webfluential as well as SA Bloggers by Sandy. This contest really gave me a boost as it became my passion because I had missed the opportunity to become Samsung Blogger in India as I started my channel a little late and the contest was over by then where they chose certain bloggers who will get their products and will be getting invited to all their launch events. It was a really big dream for me to get involved with all the technology brands.

I don't remember now when 1 Million and 2 Million pageviews were achieved but I will dig deeper maybe to check on the same. So after a lot of digging, I got the answer to the 2nd Million was done on 8 Aug 2018 after 5.5 years of blogging so it took me around 3 years to reach the 3 million mark. That's a lot of effort guys. The first million I was subscribed to a service where I paid the money annually to do the tweets which used to bring me a lot of traffic on the website and I used the service for 2 years. But I had to disconnect as many of the users blocked me as it was never-ending tweets about the same content again and again. The first million was achieved on 21 July 2016 as I used to tweet the daily progress of my blog those days. Such a time waste if I think about it. I think when I stopped posting that number for many years, people who used to follow me kept asking me how's your blog doing? I never understood the reason for their ask but now I am getting it as to why they used to ask me this question.

So the fastest growth seems to be between the first and the second million pageviews as after the same, I started rejecting many brands who were just making use of my time and efforts and not giving anything in return at all. I have considerably reduced my time to be spent on my blog since the birth of my second child in January 2018 and focussed more on other social media platforms once again. My still belief is that I have got much more goodies from my social media presence on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as compared to the blog which means that I have won several contests giving me much bigger prizes as compared to the goodies gifted by PR companies and Brands at their launch events. But this post is to celebrate the overall crossing of three million page views on The Life's Way and what it means to me?

3 Million is just a number and I hope to reach 5 Million soon in some next years and I will continue to write the new articles and blog posts. I will also focus on shooting video blogs that will go on my Youtube Channel. If you have not followed me on the channel, kindly do so as I am still far from the first 1000 subscribers and just need around 228 new subscribers to reach that landmark. This can be done in a single day by my readers around the world. Kindly follow the link and subscribe to the TheLife'sWay Youtube channel, please. Your help will be greatly appreciated in this regard.

I would also like to mention what I have received in terms of goodies or media gift pack during all these years from all the brands I have supported on my blog posts -

1. Samsung South Africa - 139 Posts - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 (Won), Samsung Galaxy Buds Live (Gift), Samsung Powerbank 8700mAh (Gift), Samsung Launch Event trip to Cape Town for Note4, Samsung Launch Goodies - Snacks Packs (Gift), Samsung NX300 (Community Challenge Winner) Won, Samsung 65'' Curved UHD TV (Mission Samsung Grand Finale Winner) Won, Cape Town Trip for Grand Finale Mission Samsung

2. Huawei South Africa - 136 Posts - Huawei FreeBuds3 (Gift), Huawei Watch GT2e (Gift), Huawei FreeLace (Gift), Huawei Watch GT (Sponsored), Huawei Bands (Gift), Huawei Wifi Dongle (Gift), Huawei Gift pack and accessories, Huawei Tshirt and Shorts (Gift), Huawei Hoodie (Gift)

3. Montecasino, Johannesburg, South Africa - 85 Posts - I have shared so many posts for Montecasino and most of them are for the event tickets and never got any stay at any of their hotels or properties. I was recently again invited for their movie launch event where I won Tomato Watches and also some Coca-Cola goodies which I have made YouTube videos about.

4. Indiblogger - 83 Posts - I have participated in a lot of their contest where sometimes I won Flipkart vouchers, sometimes goodies were sent to us, some of the posts were for cash also and overall it was a joyous collaboration with this blogger network in India. I have bought a lot of stuff using those Flipkart vouchers for sure.

5. Disney South Africa - 68 Posts - Other than their annual showcase goodies along with movie tickets from time to time the gift packs includes generally some books, notepads, Mickey Mouse Volkano Bluetooth speaker and recently in 2021 time National Geographic Astrum Bluetooth Speakers which you can watch on Youtube channel.

6. Acer South Africa - 67 Posts - R500 gift voucher to buy stuff from Shop.acer.com (used thrice), Acer Launch goodies like Pen drive 8GB, Paper stand, Typo calculator, pens and diaries.
I have stopped sharing for Acer South Africa as I didn't get anything worthwhile sharing all their press releases and doing product reviews though I used to get invited to their local launch events and also some products to review.

7. Sony South Africa - 53 Posts - Sony MDR-XP450AP Extra-Bass Wired Earphones (Gift), Diary, Pen, Sony Xperia XA Ultra, Sony Xperia XZ Premium
My love for Sony products is such that I bought so many products in London along with my earlier collection of products that when I came back to India, the Indian Country Manager of the Sony Headphones division wanted to visit my home and gift me with a new product but that couldn't happen as I travelled to South Africa before he could plan a visit. Anyhow, it remains my favourite company as I have kept hold of my old portable e-Reader, old noise cancellation headphones along with various other Sony products from Cassette player to MP3 Players to Portable CD player. I will start showcasing them on my Youtube channel soon.

8. Silverstar Casino, Johannesburg, South Africa - 48 Posts - Silverstar Casino Marketing team provided me with a lot of staycations which I won during their several events and got to stay in their Presidential Suite also twice or thrice. I have got pen drives, Champagnes, Pens, Diaries, Casino vouchers, hotel stays, free movie tickets, Picnic sets, beach mats, Cheese cutter, Coffee maker and so many fun activities to be part of in terms of their event tickets. I am not getting invited anymore to their launch events but I have had a great run with the brand and I am so grateful to them.

9. SterKinekor South Africa - 39 Posts - Movie tickets mainly and some launch events.
Sterkinekor was the first company if I remember correctly to invite me to a movie night and gave my first goodies bag in South Africa which was a Diary and a Pen. I still have not used any of the items and kept them safe.

10. rAge Expo South Africa - 36 Posts - rAge Expo Tickets, rAge Expo media goodies like Lego blocks or some kind of other goodies like caps, t-shirts, carry bags from their sponsor like MSI Gaming etc.
It's always a pleasure to receive an invite to their expo which is a mad mad time to enjoy the best of the best games, memorabilia, gadgets and other technology-related products and goodies. I have been part of most of them since I came to South Africa and over the years the thing that remains with me is MSI  Lucky Dragon Bag which is a perfect fit to carry all the groceries and vegetables from the car to the home. All my 3 bags collected over the years are now at the end of the road and I need some new ones to carry on showcasing them in my shopping trolley.

11. ZEE South Africa - 28 Posts - No benefits at all other than 1 invite to go to Zee launch event in a Chauffer driven limousine which was an experience in itself. That's my only experience in life to sit inside a limousine.

12. LG South Africa - 25 Posts - Macaroons, Mobile Stand, Pendrive, LG X Screen, Mobile Photography Class at Vega

13. Lenovo South Africa - 24 Posts - Lenovo Pen drives, Diary, Pen, Customised Laptop Sleeve, Yoga mats, Tshirts full sleeves, Lenovo Wireless Mouse

14. Microsoft South Africa - 23 Posts - Pen drives, Poncho, Scarf, Brainstorm magazine, Pens, Invite to their CIO-CTO Event, Cap

15. Uber South Africa - 21 Posts - Tshirt, Discount voucher (never used), Mobile Stand

So these are the top 15 brands in terms of the number of posts done and some of them I have also marked as brands that just wanted free promotion and vanished once I asked for something in return so there are around 60+ posts belonging to those brands. So this is the current number of posts for all these brands and maybe or not there will be more for them or not depends on the respect I get in return for my time and efforts. Here I have not talked about the thousands of tweets, Facebook posts and Instagram posts for all these brands which come along with attending the event, or sharing blog posts or receiving the goodies. Overall, it's has been a great journey so far and I generally do publish the yearly posts too which you can read and enjoy too. Thanks to each and every pageviews reader to make it happen! Thank You!

Cheers!!!

A Memoir - This Month Last Year - May 2020 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay

Hi Friends,

May 2020 was the month where I didn't have any project and I was being sent back on the repatriation flight and to my luck, I didn't get the project and I have to be away for more than 10 months on my own savings. There was no new income for such a long time during this pandemic and there was no insurance, no house and other benefits available to me to stay in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was my great luck that one of us in the family kept working and took care of all our daily food and other basic necessities.

During the whole month of May 2021, I went on to increase my knowledge on all the latest technologies as well as post a lot of self-written blog posts posting a lot of photographs as well as product reviews.

1. Product Reviews

There are some of the pending lists of items whose review I wanted to publish but didn't get time earlier and it was also something that I self bought so it was also not necessary to post delaying it further. Some of the things were provided by the companies but I could not do it within the time span other than the normal social media posting of the gifted items to create awareness.

Good Morning World @RhinoandLionSA #SouthAfrica #Wildlife #TheLifesWayCaptures
It's always so lovely to join pictures and create a kind of storytelling that really gives your own creativity a push. I really like posting these kinds of blog posts and will continue to do so if I get the daily inspiration. Continue to enjoy all these posts and I hope someday we will cross 5 Million Pageviews for sure and soon thereafter 10 Million will be the target.

I watched a lot of web series on various online platforms and also subscribed to Netflix again so that to keep the family entertained during the lockdown. I am sure everyone around the world have watched all the good ones and I also made sure no one watches the bad one with my reviews if they came across them earlier. But overall the quality content really shines amongst all the average and third grade content.

Everyday Amazing with The Nokia G10 @NokiaMobile #NokiaG10 #LoveTrustKeep
Love the possibilities
The Nokia G10 is a hard worker for such an attractive price point. With the 5050mAh Battery, it’ll power through three days on a single charge. This is aided by AI technology which manages your phone’s power, sending it only where it’s needed, and it doesn’t let unwanted apps drain your battery power.

Life flashes past in an instant, and with the triple rear camera, you won’t miss a beat. The round detailed housing boasts a 13 MP triple camera with Macro and Depth lenses. What’s more, with 8MP around the front, you’ll come through clear as day on video calls. This is all enhanced by AI-enhanced shooting modes, including night and portrait mode.

Boredom will be a thing of the past, thanks to the 6.5” display. This attention-grabbing screen is big enough for the whole family to gather around and enjoy, while the brightness boost helps you to see your screen even when out and about.

Rely on a phone you can trust
The Nokia G10 stands proudly when it comes to security and software – it’s in its DNA. That’s why this handset comes with three years of monthly security updates and two years of software upgrades for free as standard. This means your prized videos, photos and files are in safe hands. Plus, with Android 11 straight out of the box, your phone will be brimming with handy features.

Helping you to keep your life simple means making things safer and easier for you. Even the way you unlock the Nokia G10 is streamlined for ease of use and security. Unlock in an instant with a look or a touch – thanks to face recognition and the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which makes sure your phone is easy to use and secure.

Keep it for longer
Form certainly doesn’t lose out to function with the Nokia G10. This handset is built to last – coupling Nordic-inspired Night and Dusk finish with the characteristic build quality of a Nokia phone; the Nokia G10 will stand the test of time and look fantastic doing it.

Pricing and availability
The Nokia G10 is available in South Africa from early June, at selected Vodacom retailers starting from R2,499. This game-changing device will be available in a dusk colour guise and comes with a 3/32GB RAM/ROM configuration. Included in this deal is a free clear case phone cover and screen protector valued at R250.

Why The @SamsungSA #SerifTV Is At Home With The Stars?

Hi Friends,

Kamogelo Mafokwane, the dynamic content creator, lifestyle and style blogger, often provides a unique perspective on luxury fashion and beauty. Recently, she became a fan of Samsung’s Serif TV. As someone who has a superb eye for décor, she sees this sensational TV as a one-of-a-kind that you can’t ignore. She expressed her feeling clearly online:

“There are so many features I love from Ambient Mode to the seamless connection from your mobile to the TV. Apart from its beautiful design – with or without the stand, using the Samsung Serif TV has changed the way I experience and work with decor and design digitally.”

Through its versatile design, including a detachable metal floor stand as well as its iconic I-shape profile you can enjoy the view of your TV from all angles with The Serif’s harmonious design. Also, with just one touch, you can play music from your compatible smartphone through the Serif’s powerful TV speakers*. This means you can transfer your favourite songs on your mobile phone onto your TV screen with just a quick tap. The Serif seamlessly integrates into your personal style and interior décor. Kamogelo believes that the Serif TV effortlessly blurs the lines between modern design and technology. Koketso Chipane, the financier and lifestyle blogger agrees and took to Instagram to expand on her newfound love for this TV:
Why The @SamsungSA #SerifTV Is At Home With The Stars?
“Our home is filled with unique, bespoke, contemporary pieces that create a harmoniously beautiful space. The Serif TV is a perfect fit. I love how we can move it around seamlessly and create a new ambience in any room in our home,”

The Serif TV is clearly something different, combining innovative design with stunning QLED picture quality and Smart TV features to deliver a seamless and intuitive TV journey. With Multi-View, you can split your TV screen in two, putting the content you’re watching on one side while mirroring your mobile screen on the other. From set-up to streaming, the stunning QLED 4K Smart TV allows you to easily navigate different devices and apps such as Netflix and YouTube. This is a must in the home of those who know the value of form and function. The Serif TV clearly has star quality.

*When using NFC on TV, Bluetooth on your compatible mobile will automatically activate. Compatible TV and device must be turned on. Only supported by Android OS-based smartphones that support Near Field Communication (NFC) wireless information sharing.

THE LAST HOUR @PrimeVideoIN #TheLastHourOnPrime #Crime #Thriller

 Hi Friends,

The Last Hour is the latest web series launched on Amazon Prime Video Platform on 14-May-2021 and I watched the same yesterday night in a single go. The location is something you will definitely like as it's some time whose name is not shown but you can see some posters with Gangtok written on the same. The 8 episode long series stars Sanjay Kapoor, Raima Sen, Shahana Goswami (Rock On fame), Karma Tapaka, Shaylee Krishen, Robin Tamang and some more characters. The introduction titles are really nice and showcase a lot of beautiful mountains getting covered in clouds and the valley of trees creating mysterious and terrifying effects with the background music that keeps you glued to the screen of your tablets, smartphone or even TV.

Sanjay Kapoor plays a Senior Cop who has been transferred to the North East region to solve some of the cases of murder and rape. He comes across a young Shaman played by Karma Tapaka who glues the whole series together. I am still not sure why he practices Archery in the jungle where there is not even a single arrow fired during any of the fight sequences later in the episodes. It's just a lot of mysterious drama that has been created around him as a person. He could even see the dead Raima Sen who plays the wife of Sanjay Kapoor died in a car accident. Shaylee plays the daughter of Sanjay Kapoor who eventually falls in love with Karma and Karma is also attracted towards her. She looks really beautiful and there is a chemistry developing between the local cop Lipika played by Shahana and Arup.

Karma's character Dev is able to talk to the dead within the first hour of their death and can tell who killed them or so which Sanjay's character Arup decides to use for catching up on all the criminals despite all the police and security forces available to them. Till the end of the series, they are not able to get hold of the criminals and then the series takes a turn which keeps you guessing as to what has happened and will there be a second season. The 8 episodes are a little bit boring as he goes and tells the guys who killed them and this goes on in all the episodes. One time just to showcase the strength of Arup as a senior cop, he solves the case without Dev telling him who is the murderer. There has been no showcase of why the policeman was corrupt in the first episode or maybe I must have missed the plot.

#TheLifesWayReviews The Last Hour @PrimeVideoIN #TheLastHourOnPrime #Crime #Thriller

This web series is a lot between the life, afterlife and reversal of time to recheck the series of events in past as well as future. Some of the characters can see the future, some can see the past, some can see the ghosts and some are just plain humans like me trying to understand what the director and story writer is trying to tell us and show us. Sanjay Kapoor's way of holding the gun doesn't seem like a policeman - he should have taken some lessons from Priyanka Chopra of Quantino fame or his own brother Anil Kapoor of 24 fame. If you remember the movie Baar Baar Dekho, you will feel the pain of watching this one with the story moving forward and backwards again and again. The police are just doing the work after reaching the spot later after the murder is completed and not able to catch just 2 guys who are all behind this drama played by Robin named Yama Nadu. There must be mysterious tales around Shamans in the northeast which the director tries to bring to the notice of people. Yama Nadu can see into the future of people and starts charging money as a fortune-teller. Dev has the power to see the last hour of any person dead which Yama Nadu wants so that he can change it and can also become immortal or at least change his death.

This web series is not fully developed and the expectations due to the trailer are not fulfilled at all. It's not like ASUR and doesn't even have great execution. They could have compressed the story to 6 or fewer episodes and kept it mysterious with some great ending. A lot of time is spent in the afterlife version of yellow background with a boat coming to take the soul to the next birth or so with no conclusions. This is something you should watch at your own risk though the acting is good by Sanjay, Karma, Shahana and Kaylee. In the end, you will just think as to what the director wanted to showcase and why the police could not catch Yama Nadu? RATING 2/5

A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Apr 2020 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay

Hi Friends,

April 2020 is the month where I got to know that I have been released from the project and in the last 6 years of my life in South Africa, I have never been on the bench and this was the first time I will go into a route where my deputation will be ended. The project was going to be difficult to find during this corona time and it took me more than 10 months to come back and find a project in South Africa. All the benefits were stopped from house rent, insurance and other allowances and I was on savings for all these months. The Indian salary I was getting was less than the home rent I was paying here in South Africa. But nonetheless, it gave me an understanding that you need to start increasing your salary and you should make full use of your knowledge and cash it in the market. The savings are required to be more than a year of expenses rather than the 3 months as told by Wealth managers. That works in general conditions, but when you are in a global pandemic situation, you need to have cash in hand rather than investments which all must have fallen during this pandemic and won't fetch you the principal amount too.

The Life's Way crossed 3 Million Pageviews on 16-May-2021 in 2281 Blogposts.

1. OmniProtect Sanitizing Spray Partnering To Donate 4000lt to 4 Communities #SprayItForward - https://www.thelifesway.com/2020/04/omniprotect-sanitizing-spray-partnering.html - OmniProtect sent me some 24 cases of their sanitizing spray which not only helped me during this whole lockdown in South Africa but also gave them away on my daughters birthday in return gift to all the kids invited too. I have bought some other sanitisers but this one is still serving us well with some cans still to go in 2021. Thanks to OmniProtect for the same.

2. #TheLifesWayReviews - #HuaweiFreeLace Earphones @HuaweiZA #ProductReview - Huawei FreeLace I got from one of their launch event goodies and since then I have been using them as they come in one of my favourite colour - Orange. They are a really good audio product and with advance features, like automatic pause and play if you keep magnetic earbuds attached and it's so easy to keep in your neck. I even took them to India and listened to them during my flight but the battery was dying fast which I came to know is because I didn't have Huawei Smartphone which will help to install the latest firmware on the device. I did that immediately after reaching India from my wife's Huawei P20 Pro smartphone and then the performance improved thereafter. I even liked them much better than the Huawei FreeBuds3 I got from Huawei during the lockdown in March 2020 but due to the comfort of the wireless and tangle less nature of Freebuds3, I stuck to them during the lockdown and thereafter.

The Life's Way crossed 3 Million Pageviews on 16-May-2021 in 2281 Blogposts

The Dubai series continued and it was so difficult to cover Global Village in a single post so it continued for about 7 posts in all together. Do enjoy the Global Village in Dubai which is just only AED15 entry fees and then you eat and buy whatever you want to try out. It's a big marketplace for all the countries surrounding UAE.

I started posting a lot of photo reviews of South Africa travel journeys across many years and also a lot of trips to the Kruger National Park. I really loved posting and bringing all the travel memories back to mind and sharing with the people who generally think of South Africa as an unsafe country to travel to.

Some of the posts were kind of motivational messages along with some photos I clicked randomly so I combined the content with the visual effects to bring about a story. I am now sure if you will like it or not but I really loved writing all of them. When you start doing some daily posts then not only do you achieve a lot of work but also some new creative ideas start flowing inside your brain. The universe loves speed and if you execute faster then you definitely achieve a lot.

April 2020 was a strict lockdown and people were still caught inside the home, taking all the precautions and doing all the exercises assigned to everyone on social media platforms like baking banana loaf bread, or making special kinds of Coffees. Lockdown has really brought out the creative sides of a lot of people who could channelise it on a daily basis.

Cheers!!!

A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Mar 2020 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay

 Hi Friends,

March 2020 was the time when the Covid-19 has hit the world all around and the whole world came to a standstill with lockdown in place. People were buying toilet papers and sanitisers in bulk and collecting a lot of cigarettes and alcohol as you don't know what you will need and how long the lockdown will last too.

 - The month of March started with a blogger brunch with La Vie En Rose restaurant in Killarney Country Club and I totally enjoyed meeting with other fellow bloggers. It was a pleasant morning and totally loved eating at the club and capturing the beauty of food and place.

2. My Tryst with #Loadshedding - Is it New or Lifelong? - Loadshedding is still happening and feels like we are never going to overcome this in our lives. I wrote this article from my life experience in India and South Africa thereafter. The electricity never used to go in the Sandton area but lately, it has been a regular in this locality too but I have the Buco Hardware sponsored Magneto Rechargeable Compact LED with me which I am carrying everywhere now and is available for R200 for 2 at Pick n Pay.

3. #TheLifesWayReviews - #FujifilmXT100 Camera @Fujifilm_SA #7YearsofTheLifesWay #1950Post - https://www.thelifesway.com/2020/03/thelifeswayreviews-fujifilmxt100-camera.html - I got the opportunity to review the new Fujifilm XT100 camera which was really something and I took it for a ride around the town and even won some prizes using the same. The compact size of the camera makes it portable and also the look and feel of this camera is superb.

Taken using the Google Pixel 4 camera of my brother who came from the USA to meet us in Dubai

The work from home situation gave some time where I revived the photo series which I used to do at the start of my blogging career and also a trip to Dubai really gave me a lot of material to post as the place is lovely and ready to be shared with all my readers and social media followers. Enjoy some of these posts which I posted in March 2020.

5. #TheLifesWayReviews - #UFlex #Bluetooth Headphones @SamsungMobileSA #ProductReview - https://www.thelifesway.com/2020/03/thelifeswayreviews-uflex-bluetooth.html - I also started putting a lot of pending blog posts for all the gadgets I own or won in my life. Samsung uFlex is one of the wireless earphones which I have owned for many years but used very less but during the lockdown, I used them aggressively and shared my opinion. I have also gifted 3 pairs of Samsung uFlex to my friends so far too as I won them during some of the launch events in Sandton City and their Twitter contest. Throughout this year and last year, Samsung is distributing Galaxy Buds+ but I didn't have so much luck winning any pair. Let's continue to participate and let's see what the future holds for me.

Life will give you something which you need to think about and take decisions and then enjoy the benefit or failure of those decisions, but never stop making them at all. Keep on making them and strengthening your thinking pattern. Connect the dots and keep relooking at all your mistakes but taking some time out from all the social media, phone and other disturbing chaos to be yourself. It can be spending some time at a local cafe and enjoying a pot of tea or a cold milkshake.

Cheers!!!

LOL Hasse Toh Phasse @PrimeVideoIN #HasseTohPhasse #LOLonPrime #Comedy #RealityShow

Hi Friends,

Standup comedy is growing big in India and other countries too and Amazon Prime brought all the Youtube, Instagram and TikTok Stars together on one platform where they fight to not do what they do best - Laugh. They should not laugh while the other performers try to make them laugh. If you laugh, you get a yellow card and if you laugh again then you get immediate elimination. The concept is very similar to the Big Boss but it's just that you can't laugh for the 6 hours. The last person standing wins a whopping Rs 25 Lakhs in cash along with a condition that you can't be passive and have to be engaging everyone and try to make at least one person laugh using all the props available in the house. There will be regular breaks and also Showtime where everyone will watch your performance. So overall that's all about the concept of the show and now coming to the execution part of the show.

LOL Hasse Toh Phasse is released by Amazon Prime Video on their platform and the show is divided into 6 parts of 30 minutes each. The artists chosen are Sunil Grover, Aadar Malik, Ankita Shrivastav, Aditi Mittal, Mallika Dua, Kusha Kapila, Gaurav Gera, Cyrus Broacha, Aakash Gupta and Suresh Menon. The show is hosted by Boman Irani and Arshad Warsi who are in their own zone and didn't have much to do other than showing the Red and Yellow cards. Even a normal voiceover would have done in the show just like Big Boss. Long shots are taken where they walk from their room to the main set just to show the cards in style. That's it and the talks between them don't bring any laughter whatsoever. The commentary of the performers also just tells their end of how they tried hard to not laugh but no planning or strategy to improve their performance.
#TheLifesWayReviews @PrimeVideoIN #HasseTohPhasse #LOLonPrime #Comedy #RealityShow
Coming to the overall performance by all the performers, the thing is too boring to watch as there are a lot of things happening as everyone tries to eliminate others and there is chaos all around. Leaving some of the performers there is nothing anyone does which brings laughter to any viewer. It's a big headache to watch the show for the whole 3 hours where the show is merged for viewers to watch on Amazon Prime Video. As the elimination starts to happen, then only you start to get entertained as the chaos decreases and the camera focuses on the fewer contestants. Some people really live up to expectations and stay straight-faced till the end of 6 hours and the showtime performances of many are really hilarious. It would be better if you watch their individual videos on Youtube or any other platform rather than going through this comical nonsense.

In the end, the deserving one wins which will be made clear in your mind, if you watch all the 6 episodes from start to end. There are some comical moments where some of the artists really make you laugh especially Suresh Menon, Mallika Dua, Kusha Kapila and Gaurav Gera. There is no Guthi like performance from Sunil Grover and I think he has been taken just to bring some kind of star power. You can watch this one if you have nothing else to do and can spend 3 hours of your precious time on these artists or if you are a fan of any one of these artists. RATING 2/5

Cheers!!!

LUPIN Season 1 @NetflixSA #Lupin #Crime #Thriller

 Hi Friends,

LUPIN caught my attention due to the Louvre museum and the theft happening around the same and I was missing the Money Heist so thought of watching the same. They also showed Monalisa painting on the show in one of the scenes inside the Louvre. I also saw that this was only 5 episodes long so thought it will be finished soon but little did I know that the story won't end in the first 5 episodes and I will have to wait for 11th June 2021 for the second season to watch the next 5 episodes. Also came to know that the third season is also in the making considering its huge success after the first season came out in the French Language first in Jan 2021.

You will definitely fall in the love with the main lead character played by Omar Sy and the story from the famous novels Master Thief named Arsene Lupin which is a character created by Maurice Leblanc. The novel even was compared with the Sherlock Holmes trying to find Lupin in one of their novels is what I could gather from the material available on the internet. I am definitely going to go through the English version of the books. For the time being, I am reading the Complete Adventures of Feluda by Satyajit Ray which is printed by Penguin Books.

#TheLifesWayReviews LUPIN Season 1 @NetflixSA #Lupin #Crime #Thriller

The whole series is shot from flashbacks to the present moments and keeps you glued to your seats. The characters are nicely developed during the first 5 episodes and it all starts with the guy trying to find the real reason behind his father's death who was framed for the theft of an expensive diamond necklace. The main lead is Assane Diop which has his unique way of living his life despite all the bad happening around him. He tries to master the book on Arsene Lupin gifted to him by his father on his birthday just before his death. He secretly imbibes all the characteristics, behaviour and thinking pattern of the master thief from all the books written on him. He starts living his life as a gentleman and develops a charismatic personality and is being helped to gain the right education from a secret person providing for all his expenses to go to a good school after being an orphan. Meanwhile, it's shown that he does a lot of robberies as a con man fooling the whole people around Paris and making a living out of the same. Then came a time after the initial 25 years, when he starts to plan for an act of revenge as he is able to decode the last letter from his father where he gets a confirmation that his death is a forced murder rather than a suicide. The story starts building up from there and the first episode keeps you glued as there is a theft involved while some parts of the other episodes throw some light on his childhood and other parts of life to date.

I really loved watching the whole series but the first episode is much more fast-paced as the diamond necklace is stolen once again as compared to the later parts of the episodes where the whole process is explained and then again the story starts picking up speed from time to time as the main protagonist picks up several clues about his late father and similarly slows down too as the main character always stays in control and one step ahead of the police and other parties i.e. Pellegrini family who is behind the death. This keeps on happening until the final episode where he is taken aback as his son gets kidnapped and the viewers are left wanting for more action and mystery to be disclosed. Definitely worth your time on a weekend or if you want to wait till 11th June 2021, you can binge-watch the whole 10 episodes then on Netflix South Africa. Till that time -  keep reading and stay safe! RATING 4.5/5

A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Feb 2020 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay

Hi Friends,

February is a month where you start posting and making some of the ideas implemented for the best of your blog and other social media platforms. This was the month when Covid-19 was spreading around in the world and soon all the launch events will be cancelled. I was already missing the Samsung Launch event as during that day I was in Dubai and I was invited to the same after a gap of many years and the people who attended the same start getting the Galaxy Buds+ as a gift and I totally missed getting the same which I really regretted about.

1. A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Jan 2019 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay #PhotoYatra - I really love the first month which really gives a lot of hope to start your year on a high note. I really love posting these memoirs. Jan 2019 I was around 1675 blog posts and by Jan 2020 it was around 1892 posts and slowly and steadily I am coming towards posting a lot of self-written posts as well as promoting Press releases.

2. A Memoir - This Month Last Year - Feb 2019 www.thelifesway.com #TheLifesWay #PhotoYatra - This one is really important as I wrote some of my posts which were closure to my heart which I generally don't write. There is a marvel post for my 21st anniversary of Engineering Graduation during this year which you should definitely go through. It is really good to connect the dots and remember the time period. I was always a careless student and in engineering only I learned to take full responsibility for my life.

3. @CloretsSA Reveals #BreatheOutProudlyForLonger - The Game #LimitedEdition - This was one of the events where we missed winning by just being in Team No. 6 and they announced the number 6 but then changed to Number 9 so it was just not the right bench to sit on. We should have chosen some other numbered desk.

I came back from the trip to India and Dubai in the mid of February 2020 and soon the office work started soon but didn't survive for long as I got released from the project in April 2020. The whole onsite salary and other benefits were stopped with immediate effect and monthly expenses were more than the salary received. It was a stressful period and more on the same little later during the year.

Cheers!!!

#HarmonyOS Is Coming, But What Does It Do? @HuaweiZA

Hi Friends,

Huawei is preparing to start delivering HarmonyOS upgrades to its flagship phones this year. Even though some Huawei users and developers are already using HarmonyOS, there is still not much known about the new system, other than the fact that previous versions looked very similar to Android.

What exactly are the differences between HarmonyOS and Android?
All industry experts know though that a user interface (UI) and an operating system are separate. Changing the skin that runs on top of the operating system is something that most Android phone makers do to curate the "vibe" of their devices and deliver a specific type of experience to users. It was no real surprise that Huawei didn't make substantial changes to their own UI, which is EMUI because its style is part of the company’s brand identity. It's also likely that the company decided the drawbacks of completely changing the user-facing elements, like the UI, would outweigh the benefits.

Employing a substantially different UI would create a steep learning curve for returning users, and may ultimately slow down the adoption of the new OS. Users often want to do things the way they are accustomed to doing them on their phones. Huawei's current user base is huge and comprises people of all different ages and backgrounds. Massive changes to the interface they are all used to would make the new OS not very user-friendly and many might decide to not upgrade their phones.

So again, the UI change wasn't a surprise. What many didn’t see, though, were the changes being made "under the hood". While not as immediately obvious to a casual viewer, the new OS sitting underneath the UI, HarmonyOS, was changing the game.

It was like switching from a gas-powered car to an electric car. The body might look the same, but the engine running it was completely different.

An ecosystem is essential to all mobile operating systems, and building a new one from scratch is no easy feat. Building an OS without an ecosystem is like trying to build a town with only houses. Every town needs working stores and doctors' offices and schools and parking lots to support the people living in those homes. Huawei knew it would need support from app developers to build its new ecosystem.

HarmonyOS's ecosystem is basically in the process of being built from the ground up. In classic Huawei form, Huawei found a simple way to speed up the process and then took it a step further. First, they designed their app development platform in a way that allows Android apps to basically run directly on HarmonyOS once ported over. Then, they used their proprietary Ark Compiler to make the execution of the code of these Android apps even more efficient. This has already made the migration of Android apps over to HarmonyOS super simple.

Huawei's strategy of working with apps that are already out there is an important part of their "1+8+N" Seamless AI Life. They describe this strategy as an open concept that uses "1" phone and "8" additional smart devices (Huawei also sells devices in each of these eight categories). For anyone that remembers their high school algebra, the "N" variable then represents whatever devices and services from ecosystem partners you can find. HarmonyOS, Huawei has explained, plays a pivotal role in connecting all of these different types of devices. New distributed technologies let different devices share their capabilities with each other over low-latency networks, forming a Super Device.

Sounds complicated right? To understand it better though, we can compare it to Apple's approach. Apple has always focused on creating inspirational products and the brand relies heavily on customer loyalty. Since the beginning, they delivered world-class Apple-brand consumer products that were designed to work well with other Apple-brand products. This gave them a huge competitive edge over other vendors. When the iPad and Apple Watch were released, competing products didn't just have to beat them in their product category, they had to beat the integrated experience that the combined Apple portfolio delivered. This was a closed ecosystem that locked in anyone who bought one Apple product into buying more Apple products to achieve the fancy integrated experience. This also gave Apple a significant advantage over Android.
#HarmonyOS Is Coming, But What Does It Do? @HuaweiZA
By providing an ecosystem that is a lot more open than the Apple ecosystem though (remember the "N"?), HarmonyOS delivers this integrated experience while still offering customers a lot more options. One of the use cases Huawei is proud of, for example, is a HarmonyOS-powered head unit that can be installed in smart cars. If you open a map app on your phone and enter a destination, wouldn't it be great if the map automatically synched with the sat-nav in your car once you get in? Or sync with your smartwatch when you are out walking? That is what HarmonyOS is promising to deliver with connections between devices being as simple to set up as tapping a phone against a laptop, tablet, or household appliance.

To explain it in a more technical way: HarmonyOS has optimised bottom-layer OS functions, allowing for lower-level communications. So a non-HarmonyOS head unit can sync with a simple map from your phone, but HarmonyOS takes it a step further, allowing your phone to then access the car's GPS antenna (which may be more accurate than your phone's) to improve location accuracy. When your phone is connected to a laptop, video calls using a phone app can directly access the camera, microphone, and speaker from your laptop. Videos stored on your phone can be played directly with a connected tablet or laptop.

This ability to access the capabilities of so many different types of hardware is something that is giving HarmonyOS developers an edge that Android and iOS currently don't provide. From a user perspective, it makes multi-device experiences more seamless.

This makes both the hardware ecosystem and app ecosystem equally important for HarmonyOS. Huawei announced they were investing 1 billion USD into a Shining Star programme that offers financial incentives to developers who move their apps over to HarmonyOS. It was a significant amount of money and only highlights how far Huawei seems willing to go to support developers.

While Huawei doesn't look like it's very keen to substantially change its UI design any time soon, the company is undeniably making waves with the backend changes HarmonyOS provides. The core of the operating system and the ecosystems surrounding it are clearly a top priority for the company. Their open approach to handling developers and integrating devices are also letting device and content creators determine the future of the system.

Currently, Huawei has released developer tools and developer documentation for HarmonyOS. Some universities and vocational schools have even started to design HarmonyOS development courses. The ability to port existing Android apps over to HarmonyOS and the wealth of hardware capabilities already available through Huawei's tablets, smart TVs, and PCs are making it an exciting area for growth for many.

Cheers!!!
